Spencer has become a seasoned professional on Lake of The Woods through years of hard work and dedication. At age 14 Spencer started as a dock hand at Hawk Lake Lodge where he made mistakes, learned a lot of lessons and found his true passion. For the next few summers Spencer had one goal in mind, to become a Fishing Guide. After a few summers as a dock hand he finally found his break at Ash Rapids Lodge where he began to guide clients on the big waters of Shoal Lake. The following season Spencer wanted to start up his first business but couldn’t turn down an amazing offer to guide at the prestigious Grace Anne II Yacht and Lodge. From here Spencer proved himself and worked his way up the ranks to a management position where he learned the ins and outs of the tourism business and many valuable skills. Being an Entrepreneur at heart Spencer jumped on an exciting business opportunity to build Uncle Marks Outpost with his incredible partners Scott Green and Jay Siemens. Spencer also started Limitless Expeditions and has hit many milestones including Television features and working with FXR to supply his customers with the best outdoors gear on the market. Spencer’s business is driven by one thing and one thing only; Passion. Running a Guiding business is not about profits and revenues, its about creating a lifestyle that you get to enjoy with your customers and that’s exactly what Spencer does.
